Once Upon A Time
I was strong,
I was independent,
I was brave,
I was outspoken,
I was realistic,
I was proud,
I was a leader,
I was a fighter,
I was a changer.
Now
I am a mom,
I am a maid,
I am a mess,
I am alone,
I am hurt,
I am emotional,
I am broken,
I am unheard.
I am overthinking.
I wish for my strength to return, and for the courage to speak up and be heard.
I wish to receive the love and passion I give.
I wish for independence.
I wish to be seen again.
