Dancing Our Sadness Away

Being an over-emotional mom of 3, music is my go-to thing.

I try to make the kids understand that music speaks to your soul!

Music makes everything a little bit better. I listen to the beat, the words, and the in-between rhythm, the unspoken words speak more than anything else.

It means more than just a song.

As the only daughter it is not always easy to just walk up to us and talk about what bothers her, So dance and sing. No matter how off-tune you are or how bad your moves are, we are at home and no one is watching or judging you.

Nina does not open up easily and she is not comfortable with a lot of things, so my advice to her is to dance like no one is watching.

Recently we have been having little Rubz that has been overly aggresive and having hissifits about everything and at first I thought he was just being  an ass...excuse the pan but I found it heavy coming from him as he was my easy-going child and now he s the one making me wish I had more booze in my house then anthing else! Not that drinking will solve anything but atleast I will be calmer and not shouting back at him!

Anyhow so lately thetwo of them, Nina and Rubz has been working on eachothers nerves and fight about everything! With my meter climing and reachiung its destination I told the kids that now - now we are back to dancing it off. If you are mad or emtional no matter what it is about you will be putting the music and and you willbe dancing as if no one is watching because there is only enough space in this house for mama's moods lol!

To be honest I get why the kids are getting on each others nerves...I mean we are in the same house 24/7...th efour of us has no one or any other place to go except ours rooms and yet still that does not make things better or easier.

Anyhow lets see how our 'dancing it away' goes.

Let me know if this works for any of you...
