Do you ever ask yourself this question?
I do...not one day goes by without this question.
I love my kids, but I do everything wrong, all the time.
I always feel that they deserve so much better than me and what I can give and do.
I always feel that I am not enough!
I ask God every day to help me to be better than what I was yesterday,
To help me think before I react to something,
To keep me from breaking their spirits down,
To help me to be present and available to them.
I thank God every night for giving me the kids I have,
For teaching me that life is worth more than what the eyes see,
For having hope that the next day will be better than the current one.
Having kids is draining but also uplifting and motivating.
I am not sure why I am a parent and I think I will never know the answer to that, BUT I will always continue striving for a better me...a better mom to these stunning kids!
